Nikolic Studio is an architecture and design studio that provides support and added value for design projects across a variety of design scales.
Recent Work
With diverse professional experience and established network of specialised partners across Europe, I provide assistance in development of architecture and urban design projects, with a focus on the following three categories.
NQC Lugano, Switzerland / AFRY Norway,
Located in the city’s North East, this project is a part of a larger masterplan for the New Cornaredo district and will be situated at the pivotal juncture of key infrastructural flows into the city of Lugano. The project is thought to become a visionary architectural highlight marking the entry point into Lugano.
My involvement in this project starts with concept development, and is ongoing during the current project development phase.
Vineyard Clubhouse, the Netherlands / MOR Studio
An off-grid, bio-based meeting spot for South Holland's first city vineyard! For this unique project, MOR Studio used a net-positive approach and experimented in several different ways, paying special attention to materials used, water management strategies, energy production and preservation, biodiversity and air pollution during construction process.
My contribution to the project is based on consultation on the technical design and construction preparation, with the focus on innovative materials being utilised.
Alléen, Norway / GPA, Jeff Forbes
This project tackled the development of the urban plan for an area in misjonsmarka, on the west coast of Norway. The goal was creating a vibrant urban environment surrounding the university campus, that is currently prevailingly focused on single family housing, providing "street life" services and giving character to the area.
In the goal of communicating this proposal effectively to the stakeholders and general public, I have developed a short animation video, showcasing the urban plan drawings and highlighting the most important aspects of the proposal.
